usually the hokey mechanical puns are one of my favorite parts of Transformers as a franchise, but "not on my internal clock" doesn't work for me. The phrase isn't referring to "watch" as in the device!!
ok, I've watched like 2 episodes of this series, (spoiler for Transformers: Armada, click triangle to the left < – to unfold)
(one where Starscream had an actual genuine hero turn for two seconds?? it's not relevant but it was like the first one I saw so my mind was slightly boggled)
so idk if the whole thing is Like This or if this episode in particular is just a treasure trove for 'bot slang, but there is a LOT of it in this one, lol
"I'd love the chance to reinitialize your disk" ok never mind sometimes things can be too literal 😂 Ironically, even though that saying doesn't refer to a physical clock either, that would've been a better match for "internal clock" I think. Like, "I'd love the chance to clean your internal clock", I would've at least snerked at that.
"SCSI breath" is pretty good though. Though they might just be using it as "scuzzy," but then again that plays well here too bc isn't that why people read it as "scuzzy" in the first place? (not me, I always read it as "sec-si" because I was literally a teenager during the SCSI era 😂)
